Spanish Tour – 2025

In September 2025 our inaugural Study Tour to Spain will provide students with the opportunity to experience life with two Homestay families and attend school for 10 days in Spain. They will get to see Madrid, Salamanca, Alicante, and Valencia. During our visit to Spain and our Sister School IES in Alicante, students will be presented with a fully timetabled program.

Students will first arrive in Madrid, then travel to Salamanca, where they will attend lessons for five days in a Spanish school for foreigners; a centre that has been accredited by Instituto Cervantes (organization created by the Spanish government in 1991 to set the standards for Spanish Language in the world); students will be placed in Spanish language classes according to their language ability, which is assessed on their arrival. They will attend school each day and interact with students their age from around the world and enjoy activities and tours visiting historical buildings and landmarks. At the end of the week, students will be given a certificate of attendance indicating their level of proficiency in Spanish. Salamanca is known for its historical centre (Old City of Salamanca was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO). Students visit places like the Old and New Cathedrals from the XII and XIV centuries, museums, University of Salamanca (founded in 1218) and other famous landmarks.

During the second week students will visit Alicante, where they will attend regular lessons at our Sister School IES Jaime II, staying with a host family. Alicante is most famous for its stunning beaches and Mediterranean climate. Alicante is also known for its agricultural production; crops in the area include citrus fruits, olives, pomegranates, almonds, along with wine making.

The Study Tour will be approximately 18 days. Once confirmed, further details will be published.

Japan Tour – 2026

During our visit to our Sister School in Japan, students are presented a fully timetabled program of Japanese culture. Along with excursions to local temples and attractions, we are taken to Hiroshima and Miyajima (Shrine Island). We have been committed to learning about World Peace and leaving 1000 paper cranes at the Peace Park each visit.

At school in Japan we are given so many amazing lessons such as Calligraphy, Martial Arts, Astronomy, Tea Ceremonies and much more. Following the school experience, we leave to enjoy a cultural tour of the country, visiting Kyoto, Nara and Tokyo. In total the entire trip is usually 18 days long.
