1:1 BYOD Program

Willunga High School implemented a 1:1 Bring Your Own device (BYOD) laptop program whereby students are expected to bring their devices on a daily basis so they can access the increasing amount of curriculum that is delivered by electronic means. The goal of this program is to ensure all students have equal opportunity to develop ICT capabilities and digital literacies. These skills are embedded throughout the Australian Curriculum and are key to success in the modern world we are preparing them for.

For families in financial hardship (requiring flexible financial options) there will be opportunity to apply via verbal conversation or written statement submitted to the Principal, Anthony van Ruiten, or Deputy Principal, Haley Przibilla, for loan of a school owned device.

WHS has teamed with Hewlett Packard and JBHIFI to provide purchase portals, with a range of devices that WHS recommends. There are also a number of different payment options this provides Bpay, Credit Card, Rent, Interest Free, Accidental Damage Insurance.
