Parent - Student - Teacher Conferences

Tuesday 25 September, 11am -7pm.

Our Term 3 Parent-Teacher-Student Conferences will be held on Tuesday 25 September, 11am -7pm. Please note students are not to attend school on this day so that all staff are available to participate in conferences.

The conferences are in place of a Term 3 written school report. Therefore if you would like to know how your child is progressing in their subjects, you will need to attend the conference night. Please note that if your child has the same teacher for one or more subjects, only one interview time slot will be required.

To make an online booking, please refer to the information contained in the letter available to download below.

If you do not have an internet connection or email address, you can make a booking by phoning us on 8557 0100, or by attending our school in person. Bookings close on Sunday 23 September.

We sincerely hope to see you at our Parent/Teacher/Student Conference.

Progressive Assessment Testing

As part of a statewide initiative, all EDU SA enrolled students in Years 3-10 are required to take part in the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) Progressive Assessment Test - Mathematics (PAT-M) and Progressive Assessment Test - Reading (PAT-R) tests.

The PAT – M and PAT - R are an Australian, nationally normed series of tests designed to provide objective and data based information to teachers about their students' skills and understandings. Alongside individual student achievements, the school will also use the data to focus on improving teaching and learning programs and highlighting common areas of educational success and need amongst our students.

From 2015, students in Years 3 to 10 have been required to undertake the online PAT Reading comprehension (PAT-R) and Maths (PAT-M) tests annually.

Over the next few weeks, students in Years 8-10 at Willunga High School will take part in the PAT-M and PAT-R during specified lessons. Each test takes approximately 40 minutes (two tests in total) and each is done on-line. There is no pre-work that students will need to do and it is expected that all Year 8-10 students will participate. Catch up times for absent students will be offered, but all testing must be completed no later than Friday 28th September 2018.

Should you have any questions relating to the PAT-M or PAT-R testing process at Willunga High School, please feel free to make contact with Megan Ring, Caleb Macrow or Fiona Adams.
